What Are the Costs of a Crewed Yacht Charter?

Your expenses for a crewed yacht charter include:

1. Yacht Rental Fee: Based on the yacht you select.
2. Crew Fees:
   • Skipper: €220/day (€1,540/week).
   • Hostess: €200/day (€1,400/week).
3. Additional Costs:
   • Mooring fees
   • Fuel
   • Groceries and beverages for breakfast and lunch (for both you and the crew)
   • Dinners ashore (for dinners the stipend for the crew is 40€/person)

These additional costs are paid as you go and depend on your consumption and itinerary.

With Crewed Yacht Charter your itinerary is not pre-set but evolves based on your preferences, weather conditions, and the insights of your experienced skipper. Inclusions: A private cabin, three meals per day, and drinks.

• Ensure your safety and an enjoyable sailing experience.
• Navigate and handle the yacht with care.
• Recommend destinations based on local knowledge while accommodating your preferences (weather permitting).

What Are the Responsibilities of the Hostess?

Daily Rate: €200 (€1,400/week)
Inclusions: A private cabin, three meals per day, and drinks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grocery shopping and meal preparation (breakfast and lunch).
• Cleaning dishes, the kitchen, saloon, cockpit, and bathrooms.
• Helping skipper when docking
• Suggesting top locations for sightseeing, dining, and nightlife.

Dinner preparation is available for an additional fee.

Where Do the Crew Sleep, and What Do They Eat?

Both the skipper and the hostess require their own private cabin onboard, along with access to a bathroom and shower. When it comes to meals, the crew’s food and drinks are part of your provisioning expenses. The hostess typically prepares breakfast and lunch for the guests, ensuring meals are delicious, fresh, and catered to your preferences. Guests can coordinate menus and grocery lists with the hostess before the trip and adjust as needed during the journey. Dinners are usually enjoyed ashore, where you can explore local restaurants while providing a stipend of €40 per crew member for their evening meals.

How Should You Tip the Crew?

While tipping is not obligatory, it is customary in Croatia as a gesture of appreciation for excellent service. A typical tip ranges from 5% to 15% of the total charter cost.
