Hello! I am Ivana Kovačić, booking manager and owner of the Fair Wind yacht charter company.
When back in far away 1998 I graduated in Economics with a major in finances and accounting you can bet that at the time I hardly imagined myself in the yacht charter business.
The world of sailing and yacht charter only opened to me in 2004 when my father bought a sailboat and suggested that we sail it ourselves and charter it in periods when we cannot use it. As you can guess, the first sailing trip was my “love at first sight”.
In 2014, supported by my husband Paško, I founded Fair Wind with a small fleet of 3 sailboats. We have been growing slowly ever since, while our main goal has always been to go above and beyond to deliver the very best experience of sailing holidays in Croatia to each and every client of ours.
Being a proud mother of three (a 20-, 17- and 12-year-old) I have learned very well how to deal with multitasking and organization. This has helped me a great deal in running the business since, for years already, I have been performing many roles in the company (booking, finances, marketing, web, and cleaning organization….).
