The Bavaria C38 is based in Split, at ACI Marina. The marina sits right next to Split’s Old Town, making it easy to reach the city centre on foot. The drive from Split Airport (SPU) to the marina takes around 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
The price includes the yacht, standard equipment, berth in base marina, and support before and during your charter. The mandatory charter pack Charter pack includes: 25% VAT, final cleaning, bed linen, bath towels (2pp),

To charter the Bavaria C38 on your own in Croatia, you’ll need a valid sailing license and VHF certificate that meet Croatian requirements. If you sail regularly and feel confident maneuvering an 11-meter yacht, this model will feel responsive and manageable. If you’re unsure, adding a skipper is always an option — even for just a day or two until you settle in.
Yes, absolutely. The Bavaria C38 is a comfortable and safe yacht for families. The cockpit is well protected, there’s plenty of space to move around, and the boat sails smoothly even if the weather changes. Yes. You can charter the C38 bareboat, with a skipper, or with both a skipper and hostess (they will each need a cabin). A skipper takes care of the sailing, safety, and daily route planning, while a hostess prepares breakfast and lunch, tidyies common areas, and is making your holiday more relaxed.
The boat has 3 cabins plus the salon, with 6–7 comfortable berths. For the best experience, we recommend up to six guests. The salon berth can be used if needed, but most guests prefer to keep it as a relaxing common area.
Yes. Thanks to the bow thruster, twin wheels, and responsive hull, the boat is comfortable to maneuver even in busier summer marinas. If you’re new to Croatia or this size of yacht, we’re happy to explain local docking tips when you arrive.
To confirm your booking, a 50% payment is made at the time of reservation.
The remaining 50% is due four weeks before the start of your charter.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card, and all transactions are fully secured.
If you book closer to your charter date, the full amount is paid at once.

If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible. Our cancellation terms follow standard Croatian charter rules and depend on how far in advance you cancel:

We always recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance in your home country to protect your trip in case of unexpected situations.
A refundable security deposit is required for all charters. It acts as coverage for deductible-level damages that may occur during your trip. The deposit is paid at check-in, usually through a credit-card preauthorization. After your charter, once the boat has been inspected and everything is in order, the deposit is released in full. Most guests never encounter any issues — it’s simply a standard procedure for yacht charters in Croatia.
Yes, you can. Deposit insurance or a deposit waiver fully replaces the refundable security deposit. If you’d prefer not to block the full deposit amount on your credit card, this is a good alternative. Deposit insurance for Bavaria C38 amounts 150€ non-refundable + 150€ refundable.
Yes. All our boats, including the Bavaria C38, are fully covered by casco insurance and third‑party liability. The security deposit covers the insurance deductible—any damages up to that amount are not covered by insurance and are retained from the security deposit.
