Day 1 - SATURDAY

Maslinica on the island of Šolta Croatia

Split - Maslinica - 14NM

Your journey begins at ACI Marina Split, just a 20-minute walk from the city center. After boarding your provisions, set sail for the charming village of Maslinica, where you can enjoy stunning sunsets over the seven islands. Choose from various dining options, from upscale restaurants to quaint taverns, and spend the night at Marina Martinis-Marchi or anchored in Šešula bay.

Day 2 - SUNDAY

Maslinica - Žirje - 26NM

Venture forth to Žirje, the largest and farthest inhabited island in the Šibenik archipelago. Historically shrouded in oak trees, the island derives its name from the acorns of these trees. Serving as a natural extension of the Kornati islands, Žirje’s indented coastline and idyllic bays are a sailor’s paradise. Choose between anchoring in Mala and Vela Stupica bays to the south, Tratinska bay to the west, or Muna bay to the east for an overnight stay. Explore the Byzantine fortress dating back to the 6th century.

Day 3 - MONDAY

Sailing itinerary north from Split

Žirje – Piškera – 19NM

As you sail from Žirje to Piškera Island, the stark contrast between the cobalt sea and light grey limestone hills will captivate your senses. The Kornati archipelago, a haven of 89 islands, islets, and reefs, unfolds in front of you. Test your sailing prowess while navigating this marine wonderland. Remember, as the Kornati is a national park, an entrance ticket is required. The uninhabited Piškera Island, with its expansive 2.66 square kilometers, hosts the solitary ACI marina.

Day 4 - TUESDAY

Piškera – Kaprije – 18NM

Kaprije Island, ensconced within the heart of the Šibenik archipelago, invites you to its serene shores. The island takes its name from the caper plant whose buds are cherished as a culinary delight. Kaprije Bay, located on the island’s southwestern flank, offers shelter from all winds, making it a haven for boaters.

Sailing north from Split Skradin

Kaprije – Skradin – 18NM

Sailing to Skradin is a journey through history and beauty. Pass through the St. Ante channel for a spectacular view of Šibenik, dominated by the majestic St. Jacob’s cathedral and three guarding fortresses. As you glide through the Šibenik bay and the Krka River Canyon, Skradin’s allure reveals itself. Rest in the ACI marina or anchor in the bay, and if you wish to explore the Krka National Park’s waterfalls, hop on a tourist boat.

Day 6 - THURSDAY

Skradin – Primošten – 24NM

Primošten, a charming town with a rich heritage, will captivate you. Its stone houses, narrow alleys, and the church’s lofty bell tower radiate an authentic Dalmatian ambience. The renowned vineyards surrounding the town only add to its allure, so much so that an image of them graces the halls of the UN center in New York.

 

Day 7 - FRIDAY

Split

Primošten - Split – 29NM

Your final day takes you back to Split, a city that thrives around the remarkable Diocletian Palace, a relic from late antiquity. The palace’s vibrant life and historic significance have earned it a place on UNESCO’s list. Moor at ACI Marina Split, marking the end of your memorable journey.
